Write Like You Mean It Highlighted at North Texas Book Festival

The North Texas Book Festival went off without a hitch this past weekend. And among the authors in attendance to sell and sign books and promote literacy was none other than yours truly, author of Write Like You Mean It: Mastering Your Passion For The Written Word.

Books representing numerous genres were available. Write Like You Mean It was one of the few nonfiction titles and the only one focused on helping writers improve their craft.

I couldn't have been more thrilled to be part of this event and to rub elbows with and learn a thing or two from writers who really take their craft seriously. A nonprofit organization, the North Texas Book Festival has held this event for 22 years as a way to provide grants to public and school libraries and literacy programs in the North Texas area.

As you can probably imagine, I'm very excited about this book! Write Like You Mean It is chock full of tips, tricks, and inspiration for anyone who wants to write better, and I share stories of my journey to becoming the best writer I can be.

I try to speak to all writers, whether they are journalists, creative writers, fiction writers, nonfiction writers, etc. But as I'm sure you'll agree, writing well, regardless of whether or not you intend to be a professional writer, is important for all industries and personal development.

So this book is great for anyone!
