Here's a feel-good story: I was at a networking meeting recently when a fellow business owner I hadn't seen in several months pulled me aside. He had a big smile on his face, and he said he had some exciting news for me regarding my book, Write Like You Mean It: Mastering Your Passion For The Written Word.
The conversation was short, but it went something like this:
Him: "I bumped into a gentleman the other day who said he was so inspired by your book that he decided to start his own writing business. And he did it, too ... he's all up and running."
Me: "Really!?!?!"
Him: "You sound shocked."
Me: "I'm just really thankful. That makes me feel good."
That's it – nothing more earth-shattering than that to report. But, man ... that felt really good. I knew my book had plenty of great information, but to know someone applied those tips, tricks, and life hacks to start a new writing business has me doing cartwheels right now.
I imagine my cartwheels looking something like this. LOL!
