I've been in the writing and editing industry for nearly 26 years, having written for many amazing newspapers and magazines. But when I went off on my own nine years ago – on April Fools' Day, no less – Edit This was a tiny, niche thing.
I wanted my career as a writer to take off, but I also had no idea if it would catch on.
Needless to say, this company has grown beyond my wildest dreams.
We've got some pretty exciting things going on. The company continues to grow, and there have been more opportunities to work on bigger projects such as book editing and ghostwriting. Then there's the launch of our new writing consulting and coaching service, which I can't wait to share more about in the coming days and weeks!
