Upcoming Event: Steve Gamel Writing Workshops, Class No. 4

It's that time again. The next installment of the "Steve Gamel Writing Workshops" is slated for April 11. Have you registered yet? If not, you definitely should.

Slowly but surely, we are building a vibrant local writer's community in Denton County, and I couldn't be more excited! Come enjoy hands-on learning, making new friends, plenty of networking, and the chance to talk about all things writing.

And what a perfect topic to keep building momentum (see below):

Action Steps To Get Started on Your First Book!

I've had more than a handful of conversations with aspiring authors since my book, Write Like You Mean It: Mastering Your Passion For The Written Word, was published in 2021. And everyone kept saying the same thing about writing their own book one day:

"I've been told I need to write a book but haven't taken the plunge yet."

"I've got two or three books in me, I swear."

"I've got an idea, but I'm unsure if it's book material."

If I can write a book, so can you. And that's the point of this next workshop – to provide a few tips and tricks to help you go from having a concept in your head to having a published book in your hands. Trust me ... you don't want to miss this class!

Why Attend Writing Workshops?

I've always believed the worst thing any professional writer can do is spend decades perfecting their craft only to keep all those trade secrets, tips, tricks, and life hacks to themselves. We should educate and inspire the next generation, relying on our successes and failures to share what works, what doesn't, and how to steer others in the right direction.

It's the reason I wrote my book, and it's the reason I'm starting these writing workshops.

For now, these writing workshops are in-person events only. Space is also limited. So, if you're interested in joining us, please don't wait until the last minute. The QR code/link to register is in the image above, and the cost is $59 per person.

The cost covers light snacks, an excellent presentation, Q&A time, and networking. I will also have copies of my book available for purchase.

I can't wait to see you on April 11.

Thank you for reading!
