Steve Gamel Writing Workshops: Our 2025 Topic Lineup Is Here

Our writing workshops concluded with a party!
This year's slate of workshops concluded with a massive pre-holiday business mixer! Photo courtesy: Cathi Coridan.

Thank you to everyone who attended and spread the word about the Steve Gamel Writing Workshops this year. We held 10 classes and covered quite a bit of ground, thanks to a room full of great people and a solid list of fun and inspirational topics.

It was a blast–and the best part is that we capped it all off with a huge pre-holiday business mixer last week. After all, this writing community we've built is open to EVERYONE.

What's Next for Writing Workshops in 2025?

Thank you for asking! The mixer I just mentioned capped our 2024 lineup of classes and events. We've covered a variety of topics, including overcoming writer's block, starting and finishing your first book, becoming a better storyteller, the importance of active listening, marketing yourself as a writer, and giving your business a unique and authentic voice.

But there's so much more we can do!

After talking to our fellow writers, business owners, and workshop attendees, we've compiled the following topic lineup for 2025. Check it out!

January: Time Management for Writers

February: Writing for Business 101

March: Action Steps To Get Started on Your First Book (back by popular demand)

April: How To Get Your Book Published (back by popular demand)

May: How Quality Writing Takes Your Website To Another Level

June: The Magic of Storytelling: Improve Your Marketing, Connection & Authenticity

July: The Benefits of Writing Outside Your Comfort Zone

August: Stop Writing Like Yoda: Active vs. Passive Voice

September: Steve's Top 10 Business Writing Ethics

October: Writing Mastermind

November: 2nd Annual Best Pre-Holiday Business Mixer EVER

December: No Class (enjoy the holidays)

For now, these writing workshops are in-person events only and will be held at the Seeden Club in Argyle, Texas. Space is also limited, so if you're interested in joining us, please don't wait until the last minute. The cost is $59 per person/per class, and the individual QR codes/links to register will be available soon via blog posts and social media posts.

The cost for the Steve Gamel Writing Workshops covers snacks, an excellent presentation, Q&A time, and networking. I will also have copies of my book available for purchase.

Why Attend Writing Workshops?

The worst thing any professional writer can do is spend decades perfecting their craft only to keep all those trade secrets, tips, tricks, and life hacks to themselves. As writers, we should educate and inspire the next generation, relying on our successes and failures to share what works, what doesn't, and how to steer others in the right direction.

It's the reason I wrote my book, Write Like You Mean It: Mastering Your Passion for the Written Word, and it's the reason I've started the Steve Gamel Writing Workshops.

I can't wait to see everyone in 2025!
