A dear friend recently mentioned at a networking event that his birthday is on Thanksgiving. He wished everyone the standard "Happy Thanksgiving" and then joked that he was giving everyone the day off in observance of his birthday. How nice of him, right!?
Well, my birthday doesn't fall on Thanksgiving, but in honor of the festivities, I invite everyone to take the day off from worrying about grammar, spelling, and any writing activities.
I know my fellow Grammar Nerds out there might freak out. I'm freaking out a little, too.
But it is Thanksgiving. Calories don't count–so I guess we can throw other rules out, too!
Happy Thanksgiving From Our Family at Edit This!
Life isn't easy–we go through so much every day and every year, and sometimes, it can feel like we are stuck in neutral. But I believe that there is always something to be thankful for.
I am thankful for each and every one of you.
You have blessed me and my family so much over the years; this year is no exception.
Thank you for allowing me to have my dream job.
Thank you for trusting me to tell your story.
Thank you for everything!
Enjoy your Thanksgiving. Eat lots of food. Take lots of naps. Be present with your family.
