A Ghostwriter Can Help You Achieve Your Dream of Writing a Book

According to Psychology Today, 92% of people never achieve their goals. Perhaps you’ve found yourself in a similar position with that book you’ve been wanting to write. It’s not because of laziness. You mean well! You simply haven’t followed through on it yet.
And the culprit may surprise you—a lack of actionable, realistic plans to transform your dreams into reality. Hiring a ghostwriter (like me!) could be precisely what you need.
Yes, a ghostwriter can bring your novel to life. But what does the process actually look like?
Ghostwriter—Your Book-Writing Ace in the Hole!
It all begins when you tell me, "I want to write a book." We schedule a time to talk so that I can learn more about your book idea and what you have in mind. I'll answer any questions you have and then go over my process and how I tailor it to your needs.
Depending on your project, I’ll either use your vision as a starting point to craft your next masterpiece or refine what you’ve already written.
Once we are ready to roll up our sleeves and get to work, we schedule another meeting where we dive into your story. If I’m doing all the ghostwriting, there is a lot of interviewing and note-taking. For one autobiography project, I spent three consecutive days interviewing one client (each day’s interview lasted eight hours). In a book I’m writing now, I met with the client five separate times. I review and transcribe all my notes, then work on creating what I believe is a solid outline for moving forward. I share this with you, and we work on it together.
As I continue writing and bringing your book to life, the back-and-forth collaboration continues. I ask questions through additional interviews to flesh out points that may have been missed earlier. I will write a few chapters and work with you to ensure it’s accurate and to your liking before I move on to the next chapter. Revisions are constant and collaborative throughout the entire process. The same is true for editing!
To summarize, our book ghostwriting and editing services run the gamut and include:
Writing your book from scratch – We spend a lot of time sitting with you as you share your story. This allows us to get a feel for who you are, your message, and your style so we can quickly adapt the writing to your voice. The process is collaborative, so don't worry about being cut out. After all, it's your book!
Expand upon existing content – One of our clients is a nurse who writes her novels without concern for grammar. For her, it's the best way to get ideas on paper—even if it's a basic shell. She then relies on us to help her fix grammar, expand content, fix plot holes, create flow, eliminate redundancies, fact-check, create character names and backstories, etc.
Editing services – Sometimes, all a client needs is someone they can trust to look over their finished work from top to bottom, fix anything they may have missed, strengthen their writing, and create a polished book they can be proud of.
The process finishes when you have a completed manuscript in hand and are completely satisfied with the end product.
If you’ve been sitting on an idea for years or recently felt a pull to tell your story, working with a ghostwriter can turn that spark into something real.
Transform your vision into a book that you’re proud of.
